Step Into the Flux
The energy that filled the atrium at Meydenbauer Center Theatre Gallery during Kevin Cosley’s recent artist walk and talk with curator Tamar Alsberg and guest of honor Patti Warashina is still reverberating. That evening wasn’t just a moment to view paintings; it was a shared experience of curiosity, memory, and emergence. Now, that energy continues. This week, you’re invited into the studio to see where these paintings begin.

Moments From the Talk
At the center of five large-scale paintings that seemed to breathe with their own atmosphere, Kevin shared a glimpse into the process:
Painting without a fixed outcome, letting forms emerge the way weather forms patterns, or how memory drifts into focus.
Embracing the edge of chaos, where the work balances wonder and control, always in motion, always expanding.
Color experienced as sensation, iridescent, shifting, and emotional, with hues that seem to come from beneath the surface or from a place before memory.

Photos from the evening captured an attentive crowd; people weren’t just looking, they were participating, bringing their own stories to the work. Those same ideas now live in a new series of smaller works you can experience in the studio this week.

New Work. First Look. This Week Only.
Kevin is offering early access to a new body of smaller-scale works exclusively for those who join or are already part of his collector list.
These pieces extend the world of the Meydenbauer show but bring it closer, scaled for homes and personal spaces, while carrying the same intuitive movement and mystery.
While the canvases in Bellevue are monumental, these new works bring that same shifting presence into a more intimate scale, inviting repeated viewing as they change with your rhythm and the light.
This is a chance to see and acquire work before it becomes more widely available.
