Chasing Werner up the ridge.
Davo chasing me, Yikes! I just added this one for those of you who have
tried to take closeup pics in the air and know how close this is. Let's just say
I'm just glad his glider didn't have a kingpost :)
Since Davo isn't bashfull about getting close I took a couple good shots of
him.

I just love flying up this amazing ridge, so here's a couple more shots looking east with the wildlife refuge below.
Even with a strong winter wind there were nice round smooth thermals where I could climb at 1,000 fpm or more. I refused to go much over 5K however with my face exposed to the cold on this chilly February day. Luckily at Saddle Mt. we can land on top next to the truck to warm up and get a bite to eat before launching again. Too much!
