Just a few shots during a last minute evening flight. Having been blown out for flying at Packwood, Werner and I packed up and blazed to Dog just in time to sneak in a flight before dark. The surface of the valley is so interesting...
...and the surface of the lake so beautiful.
Though it had been sunny all day, and warm for February, these great clouds moved in at the last minute for a dramatic finish. The air was a little too gusty for close flying so no closeups. I got into the wispies at about 3,800' MSL.
Once again, on 2/9/03, Kevin and Werner are a couple of the luckiest guys on (off) the planet.
